Let’s face it, keeping up any beauty routine can be expensive. With certain creams costing upwards of $300 and even some lipsticks retailing for $50 a piece, who could keep up!? For as long I as I can remember, I have been a drugstore beauty shopper. Why spend all that money on crazy creams and luxury lipsticks, when you can find products that make you feel just as beautiful for less than half the price. Here are my top picks for Makeup, Skin and Hair products all available at your local drugstore!
There are so many great options for inexpensive makeup these days. For my cheeks I love the bronzing power of Physicians Formula. It’s a gives a great glow without being orange. The creme blush from Maybelline is my fav because it also acts as a highlighter and I can use it on my lips. For matte lips, I love the Nyx lipstick. I have to use a lip liner with my lipsticks and my favorites are Revlon and Wet n’ Wild. I am also obsessed with Wet n’ Wild lipsticks. They have so many colors and they are beyond affordable! My go to gloss is Revlon ColorStay in Cannes. For eyes, I like to keep it neutral with the Maybelline Nude eyeshadow palette. My very favorite liquid liner is Almay because it makes the perfect cat eye. I stick to an old favorite for my eyebrows, the Wet n’ Wild eyebrow pencil in brown. And then of course L’oreal Voluminous Mascara. For a concealer, I like L’oreal True Match and then to top off my look, I love the Nyx liquid highlighter for that finishing glow!

For cleansing my face I keep it simple with Cetaphil. It’s a classic so why mess up a good thing!? For exfoliation, I like Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub. It really is gentle so I don’t have to worry about it tearing my skin but it still gets the job done. I remove my makeup every night with Neutrogena Night Calming towelettes and it feels like my very own mini facial. For body wash, I am obsessed with the feel and the scent of Dove’s Coconut & Jasmine body wash. It’s like I’m always on a tropical vacation. For lotions, I go with Jergen’s Natural Glow because I love the subtle glow it gives me and it has SPF in it! Also, I always keep EOS hand lotion in my purse for those extra dry days. Lastly, the only deodorant I use is Dove Fig & Orange Blossom because who doesn’t want to smell like orange blossom!?

My fancy hairdresser recommended the Wet Brush to me years ago and I was shocked it was only $8! It’s the only brush I use. For shampoo & conditioner, I use Macadamia Natural Oils products. They are color safe and sulfate free. I can’t live without dry shampoo and Batiste is the most classic out there! It’s light weight and smells so fresh! Before I blow dry, I use TRESemme’ heat protecting spray to protect my hair and my color. For a leave in conditioner, I SWEAR by It’s a 10 leave in treatments. I love the one with Keratin or the one for blondes. Lastly, I always have bobby pins on hand and these matte ones from Conair couldn’t be more perfect.
